faithful love

He is my faithful love. Psalm 144:2

What I think His faithful love sounds like, His never-will-I-leave you & never-will-I-forsake-you kind of love, His always present, always abundant, always sufficient, always passionate, protective, restorative, healing, comforting, joy-of-man's desiring, love-that-will-not-let-me-go love.


I will not take my love away
When praises cease and seasons change
While the whole world turns the other way

When striving leads you far from home
And there's no yield for what you've sown

I will give you what you need
In plenty or in poverty
Forever, always, look to me
And I will give you what you need
